Reminder sent on July 28, 2021, and informed that it is difficult to find reviewers due to the niche research content of the manuscript. However, one reviewer's comments have already been received and awaiting the second reviewer's comments.
Received major revision comments on August 3, 2021. The comments were extremely detailed. Replies must correspond to each individual comment, with the reviewer's comments divided into several questions. A lengthy reply of about 4,000 words is required. A 10-day revision period was given, and extension requests can be made via email, with the length of extension at the discretion of the editor in charge.
For language polishing, I chose their official website service, which is relatively cheap, fast, and provides the final publishing format. The cost is 535 USD for over 6,000 words. Payment can be made in francs, USD, GBP, JPY, or EUR, and can be done with VISA or MasterCard.

Application for extension submitted on August 11, 2021 was informed that the extension is granted until August 21, 2021. The notification stated that the revised manuscript must be resubmitted as a completely new manuscript, but there is no need to worry about the extension of time. The same assistant editor will be responsible for your manuscript, and the revised manuscript will be directly sent to the reviewer without going through the preliminary review.

On August 13, 2021, the revised manuscript was submitted as a completely new manuscript, including the manuscript itself, a list of responses to reviewer comments, a new letter of recommendation, and a proof of revision. A new paper number was assigned. An email was sent to inform the assistant editor. The editor informed to wait for the reviewer's response, with the time yet to be determined.

Summary: 1. The submission did not receive the expected positive response, and there is still a feeling of rejection so far. 2. Being assigned to an international editorial department is better than being assigned to a domestic one. 3. The assistant editor is very enthusiastic and responds to emails quickly during their working hours. Any questions can be asked at any time.
