Description

The ABA Homelands Project (the Project) provides a one-off investment in homelands selected by the Northern Territory land councils for support. Land councils have consulted with homeland residents to identify what forms of investment will be most beneficial for their homelands. Funding is available for a range of infrastructure and assets, including essential services, homeland access and improvements to homeland amenity. Funding is not available for the creation of new homelands, new housing or house upgrades. The Project avoids duplicating funding programmes offered by the Northern Territory Government but aims to complement these programmes. Funding is not available for the ongoing maintenance or repair of infrastructure and assets provided under the Project.
