Description
Wellcome invites applications for its longitudinal studies conference bursaries. These enable PhD students to attend a conference highlighting word leading research using longitudinal studies, to be held between 10 and 12 March 2021 at the Wellcome Genome Campus, UK. The conference will bring together scientists, working on studies in childhood, adult and late life to identify novel biomarkers of functional decline and development of disease susceptibility, and to understand the lifetime drivers and underlying pathways of these processes. It will explore approaches to monitor trends in population health and ageing, focussing on apparent peak health, including gender differences, as well as frailty. Eligibility PhD students may apply.
