Eligibility

Current Wellcome-funded lead applicant grant holders or successful lead applicants to a Wellcome scheme may apply for one or more award. If the grant is one of the following, applicants should contact Wellcome first as there is a different application process: a Wellcome centre; an Africa and Asia programme; a developing excellence in leadership and training in Africa programme; or longitudinal population study grants.

Description

Wellcome invites applications for its research enrichment funding for public engagement. This supports Wellcome grantholders who want to use public insights to develop their research. Proposals should be aligned to the candidate's current research programme and include opportunities for them to:
- explore how public engagement can ensure their research resonates with the public;
- use insights from the public to develop their research;
- develop their public engagement and leadership skills, and the skills of their team members.
