A new study has found that the vaporized metals from the space junk that burns up in the atmosphere are accumulating in the stratospheric sulfuric acid particles, which may have unknown effects on the ozone layer and climate. https://www.pnas.org/doi/full/10.1073/pnas.2313374120

A study from 2017 claims that second-born children are more likely to misbehave than their older siblings, sometimes with severe consequences. The study looked at thousands of sets of brothers in both the U.S. and Europe, and showed that second-born children are 25% to 40% more likely to get in serious trouble at school or with the law. One possible explanation for these findings is that parenting styles can change according to birth order. For example, first-born kids often receive undivided attention from parents, while younger siblings have to compete for attention. https://www.newstimes.com/news/article/Second-born-children-are-more-likely-to-be-13620494.php

A study, published in Frontiers in Robotics and AI, tested the productivity of 42 participants, who were asked to rate their effort and performance after the experiment, by looking at a circuit board for errors for 90 minutes. The study found that humans exerted less effort when they could rely on robots to complete their tasks in a group setting. https://nypost.com/2023/10/18/ai-can-cause-social-loafing-at-work-how-robots-impact-workplaces/
