This is a well done, freely available meta-analysis, and is good to see that the authors followed Cochrane Collaboration Recommendations, and included that fact in the abstract. The finding about qigong is potentially very helpful. The article could have been improved somewhat by proofreading for English grammar.
This sounds like a helpful review of beliefs around congenital syphilis through the centuries. Astonishing what extreme measures were undertaken without a clear understanding of the underlying pathogens or the potential harms of substances such as mercury.
