Commented on Beam Management in 5G: A Stochastic Geometry Analysis
The major components of the beam management problem are covered by the first system-level stochastic geometry model proposed in this paper, including frequencies, antenna configurations, and propagation; physical layer, wireless links, and coding; network geometry, interference, and resource sharing; and sensing signalling, and mobility management. The operation of beamformed wireless cellular systems, such as 5G New Radio (NR) networks, depends heavily on beam management. Area spectral efficiency (ASE) could be significantly improved by concentrating the energy emitted to mobile terminals (MTs) by increasing the number of beams per cell. This will increase signal power and reduce interference.

Commented on Beam management for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communications in millimeter wave 5G
The development of communication standards specifically created for automotive communications has increased due to the projected change of mobility towards safer, more effective transportation and the eagerly anticipated inclusion of increasingly autonomous driving systems. The potential uses of the currently stated NR(New Radio )- vehicle-to-everything (V2X) mechanisms for beamformed vehicle communications are discussed in this study. Two beam management systems have been proposed with these factors in mind, drawing inspiration from today's traditional methods for links with the base station.

Commented on MmWave Beam Management for 5G and 6G
Ganji has developed two separate protocols for mmWave beam management.  BeamSurfer continuously aligns the beams used by the cell tower and wireless device to point at each other with minimal overhead and without requiring special sensors.  Terra, another developed tool, does the same but is specifically designed for outdoor environments. Instead of maintaining a non-line of sight beam that reflects off interior walls, Ganji utilizes the ground as a reflective surface. https://engineering.tamu.edu/news/2022/07/ecen-enabling-5g-millimeter-wave-wireless-communication-through-innovative-beam-management.html

Commented on An active learning-oriented error-based stopping criterion for efficient structural reliability analysis
An exciting poster using a hybrid stopping criterion (HESC) is often more effective than its ESC-based competitors in maintaining estimation accuracy. The suggested criterion is straightforward, requires no hypotheses, and may be incorporated with any surrogate-based approach for effective reliability analysis.
