This paper is a decade old but it still provides a great framework for how to use microbes (along with chemical titration) to detect and possibly eliminate hazardous compounds
It is sad that people with comorbidities are the most likely to be evicted during the pandemic. I hope that once eviction bans are lifted in the largest population states these people will be healthy and able to pay back their rent... but it will probably be yet another controversial political disaster.

This is great step forward for determining how to manipulate microbiomes for environmental impact. Hopefully we can engineer a way for cattle to require/waste less feed, or better yet produce less methane!
Obviously SoCal is a great area of climate ranges to test this hypothesis on, but I am also curious how this would play out in more humid environments like the midwest and southeast
